On June 23, Dr. Qingrong Huang from Food Science Department, Rutgers University, visited our school and carried out academic exchanges with teachers and students of related specialties. He delivered a speech entitled "Biopolymer-Based Nutraceutical Delivery Systems". Starting from the function of foods and the demand of the society in the future, he elaborated on the promising future and social value brought by employing nanotechnology as an emerging technology in food. Then, Dr. Huang further discussed the frontier development of the issue with the teachers and students of food processing and batching. During the discussion, Dr. Huang repeatedly mentioned he hoped Rutgers University and Jiangnan University would jointly cultivate talents, and he also extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Jiangnan University to make a study in Rutgers University.
