In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, a painting exhibition of Yan Min, Yan Xiaoping and Mo Jianwen, entitled Charm of South Wind , is currently on display at Hall 4 since June 25 until July 7, 2010.
Yan Min, Yan Xiaoping and Mo Jianwen are all engaged in artistic undertakings at the basic level. They not only provide enough assistance for the public on the artistic filed but also start a brand-new creation life. Their works fully reflect the innovative and determined characters of the people in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone as well as unique personalities.
Engaged in comprehensive woodcut research and practice, Yan Min was graduated from Department of Fine Arts of South China Normal University and completed the course at Department of Woodcuts of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is a national first-class artist and a member of the Chinese Artists Association.
Yan Xiaoping was graduated from Department of Fine Arts of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and also a national second-class artist.
Mo Jianwen once served as chairman of the Bao an District Fine Arts Association and president of the Bao an Painting Academy. He, a national second-class artist, studied the figures and landscapes paintings at the traditional Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1987.
