Air New Zealand and Etihad Airways have signed an agreement to code share on their services between New Zealand and Australia, and Abu Dhabi and London.
Rob Fyfe, CEO, Air New Zealand, was quoted in eTurbo News as having said that this agreement with Etihad Airways further extends connectivity options for their customers through Europe as well as providing opportunities to further grow passenger numbers for their trans-Tasman and domestic services. This new development comes after Air New Zealand s code share and commercial alliance agreement with Australia s Virgin Blue. Virgin Blue also has a code share agreement with Etihad Airways.
