Tourism Queensland has placed Asia as high priority in its five-year strategy aimed to make Queensland one of the world s top incentive destinations.
Anthony Hayes, CEO, Tourism Queensland, was quoted in TTG Asia as having said that Singapore, Malaysia and Japan had been contributing great arrivals to Queensland and there were many sales leads generated from their offices in these key markets. The tourism agency also plans to launch a digital media and public relations campaign as well as a new website solely dedicated to incentive planners.
