On Nov. 13 and 14, SCUT student ZHAO Jing, member of the national swimming team, won two gold medals in the events of Women's 4*100m Medley Relay and Women's 200m Backstroke at the Aoti Aquatics Centre, setting new Asian records for both events.

In the final of Women's 4*100m Medley Relay, China won the gold medal by defeating Japan at 3min and 57.8 seconds, ZHAO Jing of China finished her 100m backstroke clocking an Asian record breaking time of 58.94. On the very next day, ZHAO Jing won her second gold medal in Women's 200m Backstroke with a new Asian record time at 2 min and 6.46 seconds.
