Chairman of Nigerian Dong s Group Visits 20MCC

A delegation of Nigerian Dong s Group headed by its Chairman Dong Rui e paid a visit to China 20MCC Construction Co., Ltd. (20MCC) on April 28, 2009. Chairman & Party Secretary Li Yong met with the guests. As one of the four major enterprises run by overseas Chinese people in Nigeria, Dong s Group enjoys a high reputation in the local area. During the past four decades, Dong s Group has made a series of remarkable achievements, expanded the channels for communication and cooperation between Nigeria and China, and promoted the mutual benefits to the two countries in terms of economic growth and cultural development.
During the meeting, Chairman Li Yong promised to extend substantial support for collaboration with enterprises run by overseas Chinese people, and thus to reduce the risks of overseas projects and intensify the cost control. Dong s Group expressed its wishes to cooperate with 20MCC on Nigeria s 900mm Cold-rolling Project and signed the cooperative agreement with 20MCC. Under the proposed project, the very fist acid-cleaning and cold-rolling production line will be built up in Western Africa. Therefore the cooperation on this project will be not only beneficial for overseas market exploration by both parties, but also significant to the development of iron & steel industry in Western Africa. Both parties expected to collaborate on a wider basis for an outstanding operational performance in the market of Western Africa.
