President of CAE Visited HUST

Mr Zhou Ji, president of Chinese Academy of Engineering visited HUST after taking part in the activity in the East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstrative Zone on Oct 31. He was briefed on the production and testing of top-grade numerical control system type 8 in Huazhong Numerical Control Co., Ltd and the development of the National Engineering Research Center of Digital Manufacturing and Dongguan-HUST Manufacturing Engineering Research Institute, School of Mechanical Science and Engineering.

Mr Zhou thought highly of Huazhong Numerical Control and urged all the company members to stand on strategic position and be mobilized to succeed in the application of Type 8.

Zhou also called on the School of Mechanical Science and the University to work with enterprises for a long-term and efficient cooperation and to promote the prosperity of national manufacturing industry.
