2 Papers by Undergraduates Published on Int'l Conference

Two papers by undergraduate class of 2007 of School of Computer Science and Technology, named as, Yin Tao, Wan Chun and Qin Hao, have been published and indexed by IEEE on two international conferences respectively. The paper The Probability of Trojan Attacks on Multi-level Security Strategy Based Network, co-authored by Yin Tao and Wan Chun, has been published on MINES2011-2nd International Conference on Multimedia Information Networking and Security. Another paper P2P Traffic Monitoring System on the Base of GA-SVM, co-authored by Wan Chun and Qin Hao, has been published on ICECS 2010- 3rd International Conference on Environmental and Computer Science.

In the paper The Probability of Trojan Attacks on Multi-level Security Strategy Based Network, the dependency of the Trojan horses attacks on data path in the network has been discussed, meanwhile, three probability models have been illustrated to evaluate the risk of network. In the paper P2P Traffic Monitoring System on the Base of GA-SVM, the authors studied on the detection system of P2P traffic and the technology of optimizing the support vector machine SVM by genetic algorithms system. By this way, the authors offered a new idea of recognizing P2P traffic by genetic algorithms system supporting Vector Machine.

Supported by IEEE, both MINES2010 and ICECS 2010 have been listed as IEEE Conference. The proceedings of conferences will be published by IEEE and indexed by EI.
