Chancellor Hong Yinxing and Director Xu Guoqiang unveil Suzhou High and New Technology Research Institute of Nanjing University.
Suzhou High and New Technology Research Institute of Nanjing University, jointly set up by Nanjing University (NJU) and Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP),was unveiled on July 24 at DushuLakeEducationInnovationPark in Suzhou. Hong Yinxing, Chancellor of Nanjing University, and Xu Guoqiang, Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, inaugurated the institute.
At the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Pan Yi, Vice President of Nanjing University, and Mr. Su Bo, Vice Director of SIP Administrative Committee, signed an agreement for Making Joint Efforts to Build Suzhou High and New Technology Research Institute of Nanjing University.

Founded on the basis of Suzhou Graduate School of Nanjing University, the new institute focuses on technology transfer and the integration of teaching, research and production in the fields of biomedicine, life sciences, optical fiber and electronic information.
We should cooperate with more enterprises at SuzhouIndustrial Park to develop and deploy new technologies, said Chancellor Hong Yinxing, The establishment of Suzhou High and New Technology Research Institute will help promote technology transfer at NJU.
