On May 10, winners of the 1st Modern Chinese Literature Academy Awards held by the Center for Modern Chinese Literature of Nanjing University were announced at our university. Prizes went to three novels, one play and three poetries including Peng Yanjiao s Poetry and Prose.
The Modern Chinese Literature Academy Awards, presented every two years, is China s first literature prize administered by a university research institute. Ever since the launch of the awards, the Awards Committee has received more than 1000 literary works.
