A criminal justice research center will soon be established by Nanjing University and Taipei University. President Hou Chongwen of TaipeiUniversity visited NanjingUniversity on April 28 and discussed with NJU President Chen Jun how to collaborate to build the Center for Cross Strait Criminal Justice Research. The two universities agreed to adopt the cooperation pattern of running the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.
The two universities also planned to sign a cooperation agreement to launch student and faculty exchange programs in the fields of law and criminology.
Taipei University is a public university in Taiwan, founded in 1949. It is regarded as one of the best universities in Taiwan, particularly in the education of law, business, public administration and social science.
