Australians flock to Germany

Germany has recorded a growing number of Australian tourists. This has been confirmed by a 29% increase in bed-nights in the year to September 2010, as reported in eGlobal Travel News. Despite the world economic downturn in 2008 and 2009, there was only a 4.9% dip in the visitor numbers from Australia to Germany.
Upcoming events in 2011 such as the FIFA Women s Soccer World Cup and the celebration of 125 years of the Motor Car, as well as popular tourist attractions Mercedes-Benz Museum, Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and BMW World in Munich, will certainly attract more visitors to come and visit Germany s Magic Cities . These include Berlin, Cologne, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart, and now, Nuremberg as well.
