Chinese Taipei welcomes more mainlanders

Taiwan has increased the number of Chinese allowed to enter the country each day.
The increase of 1,000 to 4,000 Chinese tourists per day is in accordance with the agreement reached by top negotiators from Taiwan and China since June 2008, as reported by eTurboNews. The increase will be effective starting January 1, 2011.
