Thailand managed to draw 14 million tourists in the first 11 months of this year despite the political turmoil in April/May.
The UK s Daily Mail has stated that this figure is expected to rise to 15.8 million by the end of the year and is up by 12.6% on last year s numbers, as reported in eTravel Blackboard. Thailand has had an influx of tourists from Southeast Asian countries, as well as tourists from India and the Middle East. Thailand tourism was able to bring in AU$19.1-billion in revenue this year.
