The Middle East is fast-becoming a major international travel hub according to a report released by Amadeus.
Antoine Medawar, Middle East Amadeus vice president, was quoted in Travel Blackboard as having said that the Middle East already connects more major global destinations via a single flight than any other hub. Significant investments in the region s travel industry are on the way, which includes US$86-billion allotted for airports.
The report has also indicated that the investments in the travel, aviation and hospitality sectors will help Middle East increase its international, intra-region and domestic tourism.
