Authorities in Jakarta, Indonesia announced their plan to build six underground train stations in line with the planned Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system by 2016.
The city's administration has begun acquiring land along the planned MRT route that will run 15.5 kilometers long. The six planned stations will be at the Al Azhar Mosque, Istora Senayan, Bendungan Hilir, Setiabudi, Dukuh Atas and the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle, as reported in Travel Daily News.
