The inspection this time mainly involves safety disposal of urban and rural domestic waste and sewage, standardized management of farm produce markets in urban areas, and comprehensive improvement of rural environment (including quality of drinking water in rural areas, and popularization of safe latrines).
During the inspection, the group particularly made an on-site investigation on Changsha's sewage treatment, construction of the waste gathering and disposal system, sanitation situation of urban and rural junctions. They also paid a visit to the Wangcheng Sewage Treatment Plant, Getang Village at Getang Township of Wangcheng County, the Changsha Refuse Transfer Station and the Huoxing Farm Produce Market successively for field investigation.
