Summarizing the Successful Experience and Promoting the World Expo Spirit

On 7 January, SINOTRANS Group 2010 Shanghai World Expo Summarizing and Commending Meeting was held in Shanghai. Seven advanced groups and 36 advanced individuals from subordinate companies received the commendation. Group President Zhao Huxiang, Director Zhang Jianwei, Vice-President Dong Jianjun, Vice-President of the Company Wang Lin, Vice-President Ouyang Pu and General Manager of Shanghai Changjiang Shipping Corporation Zhang Lu attended the meeting and awarded the medals and certificates to winners. Group Office Director Xu Jiandong held the meeting.

As the first logistics service provider for Shanghai World Expo and the unique logistics sponsor as a state-owned enterprise, SINOTRANS made fully efforts with high responsibility and mission in the process of application, preparation and hosting of the World Expo. SINOTRANS comprehensively fulfilled the responsibilities and duties as one of the designated logistics service provider of the Shanghai World Expo, undertook the responsibility to provide the comprehensive logistics service and cruise ship transpiration services, and successfully completed various guarantee work and services.

In the meeting, Ouyang Pu, Vice Group Leader of the Leading Group of World Expo Logistics Project, representatives of World Expo Logistics Project Team and advanced employee representatives summarized and exchanged the Expo service guarantee work. In the meeting, the SINOTRANS Resolution of Commendation for Advanced Groups in World Expo Project and Name List and SINOTRANS Resolution of Commendation for Advanced Individuals in World Expo and Name List were announced.

Dong Jianjun, Team Leader of the Leading Group of the World Expo Project made remarks and called on all cadres and employees to learn and promote the World Expo Spirit, to work closely and innovate, work hard and make contributions to realize the development goal of the "Twelfth Five-Year" plan of SINOTRANS Group, and to build the Group towards the first-class leading logistics service provider in China and the world.

Totally, over 450 people attended the meeting, including related department leaders of the Group and the Company, representatives of the advanced groups and individuals for the World Expo project, managers of companies involving the World Expo project, employees, volunteers and other recruiting employee representatives.
