(XJTLU, China - Nov. 19th) The 5th Management Annual Meeting, hosted by the Chinese Society for Management Modernization (CSMM), was held in Dalian, China, from 13th to 14th, November, 2010.
Over 700 people, including scholars in management, technological workers, business executives, managerial workers from governments and other organisations, participated in the meeting.
The theme of this year s meeting was Management Innovation in Post-financial Crisis , addressing a variety of issues such as discussing the economic situations and enterprises management status within the post-financial crisis background; exploring the coping strategies and promoting the innovation and development of management theories from macro perspectives to micro practice.
The election of the new term of office for the CSMM s fifth national representative convention was held in the morning on the 13th, November, 2010. Zhao Chunjun, former head of the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, was elected as the chairman of the fifth council. And Professor Xi, executive president of XJTLU, was consecutively reappointed to be the vice-president of the CSMM.
CSMM was established in November, 1978 as a country-level, but non-governmental, academic organisation in management. CSMM specialises in the academic communication, dissemination and review of practice and experience in the field of management, striving to enhance the development and the level of management in China.
