The 5th Student Union Presidium elected

The fifth Student Union of Xi an Jiaotong-Liverpool University was elected on the evening of March, 2nd, 2011. The election lasted 5 hours before the new presidium personnel came out.

The election started at 7:00. Every candidate went up to the platform, presenting their ideas and answering audiences questions. At last, every student representative cast their votes.

After counting the votes, the final list came out at 11:00 of the night: Yaxin Lin was elected as the president of Student Union, Yinghuan Li and Junyu Wu the vice presidents and Haojinghong Wu the general secretary of the Student Union, Zenan Zhang the director of the Financial Department, Zi Wang the minister of the Academic Department, Shiyang Wang the minister of the Publicity Department, Zehao Li the minister of the Literature and Art Department, Yicheng Li the minister of the Liaison Department, Junfei Sun the minister of the Sports Department, and Chenhuan Lian the executive president of the SCDA.
