Suzhou Industrial Park and Ernst & Young Financial Training programme introduced to XJTLU students

Beginning the end of this March, XJTLU students will be offered opportunities to participate in a financial training programme provided by world s top accounting firms.
This financial training programme is co-sponsored by Suzhou SIP Administration Committee, Ernst & Young and SIP Financial Services Outsourcing & Sharing Centre. It will provide financial and non-financial graduates as well as undergraduates with employment training in financial and outsourcing services by using Ernst & Young s world-leading resources and knowledge. The programme aims at creating a talent pool for companies and corporations at SIP by offering free training services.
During the career talk at the University, Mr. Liang Zhou, the consulting manager of Ernst & Young (China) introduced relevant knowledge on financial services outsourcing, financial sharing, talents fostering models and arrangement of the training courses. He said, The financial services and outsourcing industry is developing at an amazing speed in SIP. At present, there is a sharp shortage in human resources of the field in this new sunrise industry, indicating good career prospects.
Mr. Zhou said, What we need is inter-disciplinary talents, hoping to reserve the best qualified in financial industry for the local government. We are deeply impressed by XJTLU students for their excellent English proficiency, high efficiency of group work, sound specialized knowledge and global vision. Everybody is welcome.
It is said that this programme includes such three models as talents recruitment, talents cultivation and talents recommendation. Participants, on passing the assessment, will obtain a certificate issued by Ernst & Young and will have the opportunity to be recommended to some companies. The training fee is RMB 20,000 per person. However, this fee will be completely subsidized by Suzhou SIP Administration Committee. Students only need to pay a deposit of RMB 500. The programme will recruit about 200 students.
Ernst & Young is one of the four worldwide famous accounting firms. It has over 700 business offices in 140 countries and regions in the world with more than 150,000 employees.
