Dr. Donald Pak co-publishes credit and standardisation book

A research on Standardization in South Africa , by Dr. Donald Pak, Department of Business, Economics and Management, was included in China National Institute of Standardisation s publication.

This book, Domestic and Foreign Credit Theory Studies and Standardisation Practices , published in September 2010, is a collection of articles from renowned experts in this field.
It reviews and reflects on the 3rd International Conference of "ISO/PC235 Credit Rating Services Technical Committee held in Beijing, China, in March 2008. To better summarise and communicate the theoretical research, results and experience in standardisation, experts from world wide were brought together for the compilation of Domestic and Foreign Credit Theory Studies and Standardisation Practices .

Over a 2-year period, the following bilingual (Chinese - English) book features theoretical and practical knowledge, embracing 13 articles of well-known experts from Germany, India, Romania, Turkey, South Africa, and China. These articles introduce relevant theories and methods of credit rating software, research in credit index, credit capital theories, construction of Chinese social credit system, development of Chinese social credit standardisation as well as the standardization practices in South Africa, India, Turkey and other emerging economies.

Dr. Donald Pak specializes in lecturing in Organizational Behavior, International Business, with an emphasis on Management and Managing across Borders. He has also worked in different countries: South Africa, Germany and India. Before coming to China, he was working in the banking industry for 8 years. Dr. Pak was awarded his Doctor s degree in Business Administration in Belgium.
