Dr. Shen Jia Visited SDU Software Campus

Dr. Shen Jia, a scientist from Harvard University, the Laboratory Director of SDR and a Senior Fellow of the College of Engineering and Applied Science visited the Software Park Campus of Shandong University. He gave a presentation entitled Multi-Touch Coming of Age: Transforming the Way Science Is Experienced .

Prof. Shen introduced the SDR laboratory s research work on non-formal science and technical study and medical applications, creating and studying the interactive video application due to the combination of the multi-touch interface and the large data wall. After the report, Dr. Shen Jia talked with Yang Chenglei, the Associate Dean of the College of Computer Science of Shandong University and other teachers on the hot research issues of the human-computer interaction field, future collaboration and research and personnel exchanges.
