NJU Signed a Letter of Intent on Information Industry

On the morning of Oct. 19, a letter of intent on information industry was signed at the Science and Technology Building of NJU by the Lee Advancement Association for Digital Knowledge in Taiwan, Information Industry Department of Jiangsu, Economic Committee of Nanjing and NJU.

Hong Yinxing, Secretary of the Party committee in NJU said in his speech that the signing of the letter of intent is an important step toward cross-strait cooperation and a platform for the future development of all the four participants. He stated NJU's commitment to the consultation, training, promotion and research and development of the information technology.

Other attendants who gave speeches included Mr. Woo-Cumings, president of the Lee Advancement Association for Digital Knowledge in Taiwan, Xie Zhengyi, director of Information Industry Department of Jiangsu, and Liu Baochun, director of the Economic Committee of Nanjing. Secretary Hong Yinxing signed the letter along with them.

After the signing ceremony, participants visited the Museum of the University History.
