Meeting on the Work of Executive Branches Held at NJU

On the afternoon of Sept. 19, the meeting on the work of executive branches was held in the auditorium of the Science Hall. President Chen Jun presided over the meeting. He stressed that NJU needs first-class executive work in order to achieve further development in the ever-changing social environment and to build itself into one of the world's first-class universities. He also demanded that the university's executive personnel improve their work and further the innovation in management and education to add to the competitive advantage of the university.
Party secretary Hong Yinxing and executive vice-president Shi Jianjun spoke at the meeting. Shi stated the details of how to improve the executive work. He proposed that in-depth consultation, people-oriented service, sense of responsibility, a down-to-earth attitude and constant supervision are the requirements for the executive work.

To improve the executive work of the university's departments is part of the university's measures to push forward innovation and an important part of the work of NJU's party committee.
