On the morning of Sept. 9, accompanied by NJU party secretary Hong Yinxing and president Chen Jun, Liang Baohua, secretary of Jiangsu provincial party committee, met with Wang Ying, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Gao Shu, dean of School of Geography and Ocean Science, and other university professors. Liang extended greetings to the professors for the coming Teachers Day.
Liang also visited the Coast and Island Development Lab and listened to Wang and Gao s report on their research work. I m here to learn, said Liang. Then he explained he had received two letters from Wang and Gao who contributed valuable suggestions on the development in the coastal areas in Jiangsu. Since he was very interested in their suggestions, he was glad to have this chance to exchange ideas with these two professors in person.
