On the afternoon of March 5, NJU held a ceremony to award Princess Chulabhorn from Thailand the title of Professor Emeritus in the lecture hall of the Yifu Building.
Princess Chulabhorn is the third daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. She is also a scholar on chemistry and biology. She graduated in 1979 from the Faculty of Science at Kasetsart University. She continued to study chemistry at Mahidol University, where she received her Doctorate in 1985. She serves as a professor of Siriraj Medical College, the President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute and the President of the Chulabhorn Foundation. Princess Chulabhorn has made great contributions to the Sino-Thai economic and technological cooperation through her visits to China.
