Meeting on the Work of Executive Branches Held at NJU

On the afternoon of Oct. 29, the meeting on the work of executive branches was held at NJU. Party Secretary Hong Yinxing presided over the meeting. Attendants included Shi Jianjun, Managing Vice President of NJU, Deputy Party Secretary Min Tiejun and directors from the operating divisions of each department.

At the meeting, the department directors discussed the achievements and problems in the executive work of the university. Leaders of the university recorded their opinions and suggestions and Deputy Secretary Min answered the questions proposed by the directors.

In his conclusion speech, Secretary Hong pointed out that to improve the executive work was one of the key tasks of the Party Committee of NJU. Generally speaking, each operating division actively participated in the work by handing out questionnaires for collecting opinions and suggestions on the executive work and trying to improve their work according to the feedback. Secretary Hong stated that in order to improve the executive work, the university should ensure a free flow of information of between the university executive branches and departments, improve the quality of personnel recruited, exert a time limit for the reply and strengthen the security on campus. The focus of the executive work was the interest of university and its students and faculty and its improvement can help build a better Nanjing University.
