CQU Establishing College of Integrated Circuit and Information Engineering

This is necessary for Chongqing to adapt itself to the rapid development of the industry of integrated circuit in China and the requirement of Chongqing to build the industry of electronic information. The newly-established base of IC talent training and technology innovation aims at creating a national high-level base for training talents of integrated circuit and platform of technology innovation. With the multi-level training system from Bachelor to Doctor in disciplines like integrated circuit, electronic science and technology, photoelectron and micro-system, the College will train 1,200 talents in electronic information of each level every year. The College has also built a cooperative relationship with the same discipline major of many colleges in America, Britain, Japan, Germany and Australia and has further cooperated with enterprises including IBM, Chongqing Acousto-optic Piezoelectricity Company, Panovasic Co., Ltd. of Changhong and Yude (Chongqing) Science and Technology Co., Ltd.
