Italian cuisine hits a new high, as Alitalia gets the Best Airline Cuisine award.
Global Traveler s seventh annual GT Tested Reader Survey Awards programme surveyed about 25,000 business and luxury travellers, who picked Alitalia as the best of the best, according to a report in eTurboNews.
The airline introduced regional Italian cuisine in its Magnifica Class this year. The wines paired with each menu are selected by the Italian Sommelier Association. The Magnifica service also includes table linen designed by luxury brand Frette, tableware by Richard Ginori and personal care items by Culti.
