Vietnam s Tet festival spikes bookings

Travel agencies in Vietnam have noted a 30% increase for tours in Ho Chi Minh City during the Tet festival, Vietnam s Lunar New Year celebration.
The tour bookings steadily grew despite a 30% increase in prices and agents have announced that they are no longer accepting bookings for Tet tours, according to a report in eTravel Blackboard. The Tet Festival is traditionally a four day celebration, starting on Tet eve on February 2 and will last till February 5.
