Secretary Chen Meets with CPC Party and Government Delegation of Xiangtan City

Chen Run er, secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, accompanied the delegation on the morning.

On behalf of the local CPC committee, Changsha Municipal People s Congress, Changsha Municipal People s Government, the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee and Changsha Garrison, Mr. Chen extended his warm welcome to the delegation.

Production factors of surrounding cities have contributed to the development of Changsha, the core of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster, Mr Chen said, and the city also benefits from Xiangtan s rapid and vigorous momentum of development. He expected the two cities to maintain and promote their exchanges and cooperation with their comparative advantages so as to open a new chapter in mutual cooperation.

The concept of Changsha s urban construction and management is very clear, said Chen Sanxin, secretary of the CPC Xiangtan Municipal Committee. He hoped that advanced experience and practices concerning Changsha development and management could be introduced into Xiangtan, the hometown of Chairman Mao.
