XJTLU Receives 1st Qing-Lan Project Fund of Year 2010

(XJTLU, China - 30th Dec) Recently, Dr. Xuanwei Cao of XJTLU was informed of his successful application for Qing-Lan Project of Jiangsu Province, becoming the 1st Qing-Lan Project awarded to XJTLU in 2010.

Qing-Lan Project is the action plan in Jiangsu Province, aiming to encourage and support young academic staffs in pursuing more qualified research and teaching. Dr. Cao was listed into the "Young Excellent Teachers" by the Education Department of Jiangsu Province.

Dr. Xuanwei Cao is the lecturer of Department of Business, Economics and Management at XJTLU. He received his PhD in Management from Xi an Jiaotong University.

Currently, Dr. Xuanwei Cao is also undertaking a Young Scholar Research Program Research on time strategy of environmental technology: An integrated view of cognition and action" supported from NSFC. In 2010, he also conducted a Soft Science Research Program The role of Higher Education Institutes in supporting regional innovation supported from Suzhou Science & Technology Bureau. The research outcome received great appreciation. A special proposal based on his research outcome has been compiled into 2010 Suzhou Blue Book---The Development Report of China s Suzhou.
