An IranAir passenger plane with 95-passengers on board crashed on Sunday before landing in the city of Orumiyeh.
Gholam Reza Masoumi, head of State Emergency Center, was quoted in eTurboNews as having said that 50 people survived with light injuries. Heavy snow conditions made it difficult to carry out rescue efforts. The plane was reported to have been broken into pieces but there was no explosion or fire.
