Bali s Ngurah Rai International Airport is all set for renovations. The Indonesian government has allocated IDR1.9-trillion (US$208-million) for the project.
According to a report in Travel Daily Asia, the extensive project will turn the domestic terminal into the international terminal and vice versa, in an effort to boost capacity. By 2020, airport officials deem the airport will be able to accommodate 17-million passengers a year. Initial stages of the project will be complete by 2013.
