On the afternoon of May 28th, 2010, Vice President Yuan Jun met and discussed with the teachers and students from Concordia University, Canada, who took part in the summer school to be opened in CUC.

Vice President Yuan indicated that Concordia University, Canada, is one of the important partners of Communication University of China (CUC). The two universities have signed the Cooperation Memorandum between two sides as early as 1994 and keep a close cooperation and exchanges all along. Concordia University has played an important role in a series of significant exchange events hosted by CUC, including Forum of World Women University Presidents and International Alliance of Media Higher Education for years. Vice President Yuan expressed that he would lead a delegation to Concordia University at the beginning of June, which would be sure to promote cooperation and friendship between the two universities. Vice President Yuan wished the teachers and students from Concordia University progress in studies and a happy campus life in CUC.
Exchange students from Concordia University for summer school appreciated the arrangements made by CUC very much and expressed their great satisfaction for the curriculum and daily life arrangements.
President Assistant Liu Liqun, Dean of International Exchange and Cooperation Department Zhang Lili, Dean of Development Strategy Center Wang Baohua, Vice Director of Subject Construction Office Wang Yu, Director of the English Department Hong Li, Assistant Dean of School of Chinese Teaching for Overseas Students Zhang Jing attended the discussion.
The summer school program for Concordia University is undertaken by School of Chinese Teaching for Overseas Students, CUC. Except for Chinese, students are taught various cultural curriculums, including Chinese calligraphy, Chinese chess, Chinese architecture, chinaware, Chinese minority nationality and Beijing Opera.
