On the morning of June 17th, 2010, an opening ceremony was held by CUCs School Of Media Management, and the universitys International Exchange and Cooperation Department ,in the second floor conference room, Inner Mongolia Hotel to mark the kickoff of the exchange program the summer program for graduate students from Business School, Inter American University of Puerto Rico. President Assistant Liu Liqun;Dean of School of Media Management Li huailiang;Vice Dean of International Exchange and Cooperation Department Liang yan; Dr. Crockett Louis Exiwade , Dean of Business School Fredrick Vega, Director of International Office Ramon Ayala and other 20 graduate students from Inter American University of Puerto Rico attended the opening ceremony.
Guests from either side gave an address respectively. President Assistant Liu Liqun made a general introduction of Communication University of China (CUC) and expressed the hope that this program would be beneficial to the exchange and cooperation between the two universities and achieve a complete success. Dean of School of Media Management Li huailiang extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Inter American University of Puerto Rico and wished students progress on study and experience on Chinese culture. Three Puerto Rican professors appreciated CUC s great support for the summer program, on the basis of which they could have cooperation with CUC in many fields.

It s the fourth time for CUC to hold this summer program. In the next following two weeks, students from Inter American University of Puerto Rico will attend lectures by the government officials from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Council as well as famous professors from CUC, Remin University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics and so on. They will also meet and discuss with the teachers and students from School Of Media Management, CUC. Besides, the teachers and students from Inter American University of Puerto Rico will visit well-known Enterprises such as Sohu and Beijing Yanjing Beer Group Corporation and go to Shanghai 2010 Expo.
