On March 12, 2008, SINOTRANS signed an agreement with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and became Official Logistics Service Provider of Expo 2010 Shanghai China. The signing ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Hong Hao, Vice Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal Government and Board Chief of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, Mr.
Miao Gengshu, Chairman of SINOTRANS and Mr. Yan Xiaofeng, Director of Foreign Affairs Bureau under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Mr. Chen Xianjin, Deputy Chief of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and Mr. Dong Jianjun, Vice President of SINOTRANS signed the sponsorship agreement on behalf of both sides.

SINOTRANS is positioned well to make full use of its strength and provide sufficient and reliable support to Shanghai World Expo.
Chairman Miao Gengshu pledged to take the signing of the agreement as a new starting point and shoulder their responsibility as Official Logistics Service Provider of Expo 2010 Shanghai China. SINOTRANS will collaborate with Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination with its professional capability, extensive network, up-to-date business philosophy and excellent service.
The cooperation between the two sides has a long history: on March 8, 2002, SINOTRANS was among the first 44 back-up enterprises to support China s bidding for Expo 2010 Shanghai China; during the bidding efforts, SINOTRANS did a lot of work for the public show of Shanghai artist troupes in France, and exhibitions in France and Monaco.
Expo 2010 Shanghai China will select two or three service providers from the logistics industry as its designated logistic service provider.
And SINOTRANS has become official logistics service provider.
