On Dec. 9, SINOTRANS held a conference on the logistics service for Expo 2010 Shanghai China (the Expo) in Shanghai. Relevant leaders of SINOTRANS and personnel from the logistics project of the Expo attended the conference. Since Mar. 12, 2008, when SINOTRANS was officially designated as the logistics service provider for the Expo, its preparatory work for the Expo has been smoothly in progress with the great support from leaders of SINOTRANS and SINOTRANS Limited as well as the joint efforts of relevant staff. At this conference, we summarized the work of the previous stage, worked out and deployed the plan for the next stage, and discussed the problems that had appeared or might appear in future during the logistics service as well as the ways to coordinate with the departments concerned, which would lay a solid foundation for providing excellent logistics service for the Expo.
