During November 12-14, SINOTRANS participated in Logistics Expo of 2008 China International Logistics Week in Chengdu and showcased its leading logistics concept and strong capabilities in logistics products and services. SINOTRANS exhibition team was headed by Director of Managerial Department Xu Jiandong, and Vice President of Sinotrans Limited Ouyang Pu attended the opening ceremony of China International Logistics Week.
Led by SINOTRANS and jointly organized by Managerial Department, Transport Management Department of SINOTRANS and Marketing Department of Sinotrans Limited, 23 personnel specializing in land transportation, automobile transportation, ship chartering, air cargo, shipping agency, container service, warehouse & dock management, business operations along the Yangtze River, engineering logistics, supply chain logistics and exhibition logistics took part in this exhibition event.
In this grand expo, specially-decorated stands covering 400 square meters were set up by SINOTRANS to hold 20 business promotion events. Relevant publicity materials and small gifts were also distributed. Moreover, SINOTRANS delivered business counseling and conducted business negotiations. 2008 China International Logistics Week was co-sponsored by China Communication & Transportation Association and Chengdu Municipal People s Government, with Beijing Advanced Media Group and China Shipping Gazette as co-organizers.
China International Logistics Week was held successfully in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in 2003, 2005 and 2006 respectively. It is crowned as the largest-scale, the highest level and the most influential international logistics event in China s logistics industry and even in the whole Asian logistics industry.
